"It was in April 2001, during my first motor-bike tour and travelling for my own pleasure, that I first fell in love with my own country. The roads, the people, the landscape – they are all indelibly engraved on my memory.

I crossed mountain ranges, travelled down dried-up river beds, traversed immense plateaux and finally I reached the peace and silence of the desert. It was an extraordinary experience and one that I wanted to share … to such an extent that it became my vocation. I left Casablanca, my home town, and set off for Marrakech.

That was six years ago, and since then Palm Road has proved itself by organising dozens of bespoke tours ranging from honeymoon tours to a Moroccan ‘grand tour’ lasting three weeks.

My greatest satisfaction after these six years has been to see the trust that my clients place in me and the ‘Palm Road experience’, whether they return themselves or whether they recommend our tours to their biker friends.

A mechanic by profession, he is a true expert in his field and always on hand when needed. A flat tyre in the middle of the tour ? A gremlin in the engine ?

Radouane is there. He is also an excellent pilot, with long experience of managing biking tours and his discreet presence is extremely reassuring.

He knows morocco from north to south an discovers from time to time some amazing country roads which are immediately included in our preferred Itineraries.

Our back-up man is qualified to lead tours of more than ten bikes. He is an excellent pilot of 4WD vehicles and his contribution is extremely valuable. His world is the desert and his family is the road.

He is an excellent guide, always ready to listen or to give advice – he might even be able to explain to you how to sand surf down the dunes in a four-wheel vehicle !

With ten years’ experience working in a ground services agency specialising in adventure tourism, Saufya brings a personal touch to Palm Road tours. Her attention to detail and her command of logistics mean that nothing escapes her. Her assistance out on the tours or remotely from our base is always of the utmost importance. Saufya also looks after our relations with partner service providers.

Professional 1200 GS rider, Sebastian has a 5 years experience as BMW Motorrad principal in a dealership in France. He’s discovered Morocco through a tour with Palm Road and fell in love with the country. Since then, he is our exclusive BMW consultant.

His hobby is to drive all around morocco !.He has a very good knowledge of the southern part (he is native of Ouarzazate) his assistance is extremely precious on tour.

His ‘moto’ : do my best to satisfy clients. Khalid is part of our support team since 2006.

Momo is responsible for maintenance of both bikes and premises. He welcomes clients with a warm smile and a glass of mint tea. He helps you with your luggage, he gives each bike a final polish before departure and washes each one meticulously when you get.

In fact he is a real live Mr Sheen !
